What We Do
We believe that everyone should have access to the resources they need, whether it's food, medicine or education. We also work with corporate partners to provide seminars on topics related to their rights and happiness. We aim to bring joy and happiness into the lives of as many people as possible.
Astha Kunj Society's Main Activities :
Delivering food to those who need it most is a core part of our mission at Astha Kunj Society. We're committed to ensuring that everyone has access to nutritious meals, regardless of their circumstances. That's why we're so passionate about our hunger relief efforts in Delhi and Bihar.
Collection of materials like clothes, food, books etc from societies and distributing them to the needy people in an area with the help of a Residents Welfare Association (RWA).
Health camps are important for improving access to quality healthcare services for poor and marginalised communities. They provide a much needed help to those who might not otherwise have access to quality healthcare.
Women empowerment is something that we take seriously here. We help women in a variety of ways to make sure that they can have a meaningful livelihood. This includes things like offering training and education, as well as providing access to resources that they might not otherwise have. We believe that every woman has the potential to be great, and we're committed to helping them reach their full potential.
We provide free legal assistance to those who need it the most, with a special focus on domestic violence cases. We also help with any other small jobs they may have related to government agencies. We currently operate in Delhi and several other states.
We conducted awareness programmes in Delhi schools, public places etc. on NO PLASTIC USE AND E-WASTE DISPOSAL. We also encourage more and more people to join Environment related programmes like plantation , waste management etc.
Creating awareness among college students in Delhi and other places about POSH and other social issues.
A series of awareness programmes on Menstrual Hygiene and Health Care for ladies was done in the month of June’2022.
Helping people with the Govt. schemes, the Common Service Center was able to help a lot of people with getting registered for government schemes like e-shram Card, insurance, and mudra loans. This made a big difference for the migrants, as it gave them access to government schemes that they may not have been able to get otherwise.
Unfortunately, not all children have access to the resources they need for informal education. This means that we must work to ensure that all children have the opportunity to learn and grow in an environment that is supportive and resource-rich.
The waste lying in your homes can bring joy and smile on someone’s face. We request for contribution of the following :
